Aviorimesse 4 e 5

Start of works for the installation of the monitoring system for hangars 4 and 5 at Rome Fiumicino Airport.
Diamonds is proud to contribute to the protection and safety of one of the most iconic feats of Italian engineering.
Hangars 4 and 5 of Aeroporti di Roma were designed in the late 1970s by Prof. Eng. Riccardo Morandi to meet the technical requirements introduced by the entry into service of the Boeing 747. Their internal volume effectively forms a protective shell around the aircraft, redefining the relationship between structural function and formal expression.
Diamonds, as lead contractor in partnership with Socotec Italia and Socotec Monitoring Italy, is responsible for the static, dynamic, and topographic monitoring of the floating roof supported by the characteristic fan-shaped stays.
The data will be available in real time on the platform.
